Little Governors' Camp

Little Governors' is an intimate camp set in such a tranquil and secluded spot, that it can only be reached by boat transfer across the Mara River, followed by a short escorted walk through the forest. 17 tents curve around a natural waterhole in the Masai Mara, which is often visited by warthog, hippo and elephant. The area is also home to Africa's 'Big 5', as well as cheetah, crocodile, topi and giraffe. Dawn is the best time to be out in the savannah to see wildlife, and there are various activities on offer so you can experience this magical time of day in a number of ways. Go on game drives in open vehicles, guided game walks or balloon safaris over the wide plains of the Masai Mara. There is no electricity, but flickering lanterns add to the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. This romantic setting is a unique honeymoon getaway for adventurous couples looking for a true taste of Africa. The 'honeymoon suite', tent number 17, has been carefully positioned to ensure the best views and most privacy.
