In the centre of Lake Nakuru National Park lies Lake Nakuru, with its large flamingo population and in the southeast ecological niche is Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Overlooking the park, the lodge has been built to blend in with its natural surroundings which makes it a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.
The acacia and euphorbia forests are havens for animals during the heat of the day, making Lake Nakuru an excellent game-viewing destination, whilst the aptly name Hippo Pool is a favourite spot for picnics.
Activities include horseback safari excursions, game drives, bird-watching and plant identification walks.
