Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara safari - Elephant

Day 1: Masai Mara National Reserve (Approx 5hr drive)


From Nairobi you begin your African safari across the Rift Valley, down to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will be staying at Mara Sopa Lodge for 2 nights on a full board basis. Lunch will be at the Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve


Rise early for a game drive, returning in time for a late breakfast. Splash about in the pool, have lunch and then head out for another game drive in the afternoon. If you arrive at the right time of the year you might catch the annual migration. Look out for the big cats that hunt on the plains of the Mara. Dinner on both nights is served at the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Rift Valley Lakes ( Approx 4hr drive)


This morning, a drive takes you to Lake Nakuru. You will spend the afternoon on a game drive on the floor of the Rift Valley where you can expect to see thousands of flamingos as they flock to the shores of this soda lake to feed - a sight not to be missed. Return to Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for a delicious dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Day of Departure (Approx 2hr30min drive)


After breakfast you’ll depart for Nairobi with a late morning drop-off for your onward travel arrangements.
