A 7-day guided climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, via the Marangu Route.
The Marangu Route is the most popular way up Africa's highest mountain. Nicknamed the 'Coca-Cola' route, this 7-day, 6-night trail is followed by 50 percent of all climbers. The path is well defined and 'climber friendly' to make your adventure a little easier. Your accommodation at Mandara, Horombo, and Kibo consists of mountain huts which provide adequate shelter, bottled water, and even beer & soft drinks. Warm bowls of water will be provided in the mornings to wash with, while there are no shower facilities.
Climb Kilimanjaro, meet and mingle with other climbers from all over the world, and make your adventure a social and friendly trip. This is a very scenic route with good views of Mawenzi and excellent prospects for viewing wildlife.

Notes:
Whilst discretionary, it is customary to give tips to guides and porters after the climb. Climbers are advised to budget $60-$100 per climber (not per crew) for this purpose.
All climbers should attempt to bring as much as possible of the following: Anorak, mittens, balaclava, snow goggles or ski sunglasses, scarf, 3 pairs warm trousers, sweaters, 6 pairs warm socks, thermal underwear, waterproof layer, sun proof hat, comfortable boots, sun cream, small first aid kit, knapsack and water bottle.
Transfers to/from Nairobi or Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged at extra cost
