Set on the east coast of Zanzibar, about 45km from the airport, Sandies Mapenzi Beach Club covers an area of 4ha and is graced with a long, white sandy beach, warm turquoise sea and a tropical garden of elegant palms and bougainvillea.
Ideal for relaxation, the resort has a large swimming pool with sun beds, deckchairs and pool bar. Other activities on offer include windsurfing, canoeing, beach volley, football, archery, tennis and a variety of indoor games.
